We are seeking an experienced Paralegal to join the legal department of Electra USA.

What you will do:

Assisting with the preparation, filing and service of legal documents.
Scheduling and managing of calendar.
Organizing and managing documents, including the creation of spreadsheets and summaries, and managing internal filing systems.
Coordinating the collection, review and production of documents and responding to subpoenas and document/information requests.
Researching case-related factual issues using in-house files and outside reference sources including Westlaw.
Contract administration includes drafting contract summaries, managing contract revisions through use of track changes and redline comparisons.
Drafting of letters and correspondence for attorney review.
Opportunity to expand into compliance and risk management work, with project management functions
Coordinating service and filings using FedEx, USPS, UPS.
Miscellaneous administrative duties assigned.

What you bring:

Bachelor’s degree plus a paralegal plus ABA-approved paralegal certificate, or associate’s degree in paralegal studies.
Minimum 5+ years related experience.
Familiarity with NYSCEF.
Experience using AI tools for document review, contract analysis, or legal search.
Law firm experience required; corporate/in-house experience strongly preferred.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel and PowerPoint, and Adobe, Dropbox and SharePoint, and similar cloud-based document platforms.
Demonstrated ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with sound judgment.
Must have strong oral, written and interpersonal communication skills.
Must have the ability to multitask and maintain a high level of organization skills, while working independently.
Proactive, professional, takes initiative, self-motivated.
Reports to General Counsel.
